SCR 4 – This Senate Concurrent Resolution establishes the Joint Interim Committee on Funding for Elementary and Secondary Education to study the elementary and secondary education foundation formula. The committee would function during the legislative interim between the first and second regular sessions of the Ninety-Seventh General Assembly. The committee will consist of ten members. The committee must submit a report with its recommendations to the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives by January 8, 2014. This SCR is similar to a provision of law contained in SS/SCS/SB 210 (2013). MICHAEL RUFF
