SB 121 - This act repeals a prohibition on distillers, wholesalers, winemakers, and brewers having a financial interest in licensed retailers. In addition, a provision that prohibits such entities from loaning, furnishing, or giving away equipment, money, or other property to retailers is repealed.

A list of exceptions to the above prohibitions are likewise repealed, including a statute that allows distillers, wholesalers, winemakers, and brewers to contribute money for special events.

This act repeals a provision that prohibits licensed microbrewers from having a financial interest in a wholesaler.

Also repealed is a provision that specified that no law be interpreted to allow a wholesaler, distributor, or manufacturer to furnish table tap dispensing or cooling equipment or service such equipment.

This act repeals a provision prohibiting a person, corporation, employee, officer, agent, subsidiary, or affiliate from being directly or indirectly interested in the business of any holder of a license to sell liquor by the drink at retail.

Current law prohibits a wholesaler from discriminating among retailers in price, time of payment, quantity of merchandise sold, or to grant any discount, rebate, free goods, allowance, or other inducement. This act repeals that prohibition.
