HB 427 - Under current law, a party claiming a lien for the rental of machinery or equipment unless the claimant provides written notice within 5 business days of the commencement of the use of the machinery or equipment and the rental rate. Under this act the notice period is extended to 15 business days and identification of the rental rate is no longer required.
