HB 340 Establishes daylight saving time as the new standard time

HCS/HB 340 - This act establishes the "Daylight Saving as New Standard Time Pact" consisting of this state and any other state desiring to permanently change daylight saving time to a new standard time. Under the act, the state of Missouri exempts all areas of the state from federal daylight saving time provisions. Once at least twenty states have passed legislation entering into the Pact, each state will switch clocks to daylight saving time for the last time and daylight saving time will be eliminated.
