HB 433 - Current law gives both the Missouri Department of Agriculture and the Department of Health and Senior Services certain authority to conduct inspections for purposes of food safety. Under this act, when a meat processing facility is already subject to inspection by the Missouri Department of Agriculture or the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Department of Health and Senior Services or its authorized agent is prohibited from conducting inspections at meat processing facilities for the same criteria.

This act is identical to SB 56 (2013).
