HB 64 - This act allows labor organizations to obtain, through a payroll deduction plan, contributions for a candidate, campaign committee, continuing committee, legislative campaign fund, political party or persons making disbursements for the direct costs of producing or airing electioneering communications from the organizations employees or members upon the annual consent of such person. First responders and voluntary member-owned trade associations are exempted from the requirement. However, such organizations are not exempt if employees are required to be members or pay dues, fees, or assessments.

This act is similar to SS/SCS/SB 29 (2013).
