Current Bill Summary

SB 102 - Currently, scrap dealers must keep documentation of transactions involving certain metals. This act adds catalytic converters, manhole covers, and wire owned and marked by telecommunications providers, cable providers, internet providers, electric utility, water utility, sewer utility, or any other public utility to the types of metal requiring documentation. Records for transactions involving catalytic converters must be kept regardless of the dollar value of the scrap.
