SB 498 - Under current law, cities are prohibited from passing laws that restrict 501(c)(3) organizations from operating retail businesses that sell donated items when the organizations use at least 80% of the revenue to fund their charitable purposes. This act expands the law to also include 501(c)(19) organizations and removes the 80% requirement. ERIKA JAQUES
