SCS/SB 682 - This act mandates that only licensed physicians practice interventional pain management. Interventional pain management includes ablation of nerves, placement of drugs in the spinal column, and certain other surgical techniques. This act will not apply to certified nurse anesthetists providing anesthesia services. MIKE HAMMANN
