SB 838 - When requested by a property owner who is applying for a remediation tax credit, the Department of Natural Resources must send a letter to the Department of Economic Development stating the remediation status of the property owner's site or site improvement. The act allows funds from the Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund to be used for cleanup of sites contaminated by petroleum that have been acquired involuntarily through foreclosure by the Land Reutilization Authority of St. Louis.
