SCR 23 - The resolution urges Congress to address again the issue of allowing interstate sale of state-inspected meat and poultry and urges Congress to provide states more flexibility to develop their own policies and procedures for regulating meat and poultry sold within their boundaries. The resolution also encourages other states to work collaboratively to develop memoranda of understanding with regard to the interstate sale of state-inspected meat and poultry. ERIKA JAQUES
