SB 641 - This act removes the June 30, 2012, sunset date to the Children's Vision Examination program. Under the program, every child enrolling in kindergarten or first grade in a public school is required to receive one comprehensive vision examination. This act contains an emergency clause. This act is substantially similar to HB 677 (2011) and addresses the same issue in SB 649 (2012). ADRIANE CROUSE
