HB 677 – This act removes the June 30, 2012, sunset date on the law requiring each child enrolling in kindergarten or first grade in a public school to receive a comprehensive vision examination by a state licensed optometrist or physician.

This act is identical to SB 311 (2011) and similar to a provision contained in HCS/SCS/SB 177 (2011).
