SB 898 - This act authorizes the governing body of the City of Peculiar to seek voter approval for the imposition of a sales tax to fund public safety improvements. The amount of the tax cannot exceed one-half of one percent and will be in addition to all other sales taxes authorized by law. This act is identical to Senate Bill 447 (2009). JASON ZAMKUS
