SB 533 - This act requires that by October 1, 2009, the Adjutant General certify that members of the Missouri National Guard are informed of the possible health risks of exposure to depleted uranium. Also, the Missouri Veterans Commission shall assist certain veterans and members of the Missouri National Guard, who served in the Persian Gulf War, or in a combat zone during Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom, in obtaining information on available federal treatment services for exposure to depleted uranium. No state funds shall be used for testing or treatment. EMILY KALMER
