HCS/HB 844 - This act allows members of the Missouri National Guard to be granted leave without loss of benefits when engaged in civil air patrol emergency service duty or counter narcotics missions. Currently, leave for such service is allowed for not more than 15 working days in any state fiscal year. This act changes that period to not more than 15 working days in any calendar year.

Private employers are not obligated to pay the salaries of such employees but the employees shall be entitled to receive all other benefits and job protections provided for state employees under the act.
