Biography for Senator Rupp

Scott T. Rupp has twice been elected to represent northwest St. Charles County in the Missouri House, receiving more than 65% of the vote (2002 & 2004). He represents portions of St. Charles and Lincoln Counties.

Scott was born on October 17th 1973 in Peoria, Ill, the youngest of five children. His parents, Chester and Eleanor Rupp moved the family to St. Charles when Scott was 10 years-old.

Attending Null and St. Cletus before graduating with honors from Duchesne High School, Sen. Rupp supported himself while attending The University of Missouri at Columbia. After graduating with a Political Science degree 1995, he started a small business.

Scott and his brother, Gregory Rupp, founded a college preparatory company, Educational Funding & Financial Aid Specialists. They assist parents of high school students in preparing their children for college. Scott is also an investment representative in Missouri. He founded Rupp & Associates, an investment firm where he holds the series 6, 63 & 7 general securities licenses. Scott also started a mortgage brokerage called Educational Financing Company, which specializes in loans for parents of college bound students. He is the Vice President of Business Development for UMB Bank in O'Fallon, Missouri, specializing in commercial lending.

Sen. Rupp is a member of the Chamber of Commerce; NFIB; NRA; Missouri Right to Life; Knights of Columbus; St. Patrick's Catholic Church; St. Charles County Pachyderm Club and the Young Republicans.

Scott currently resides in Wentzville, Mo., along with his wife Natalie, daughter Noelle, and son Scotty.
