HCS/SB 376 - This act modifies provisions relating to the financial impact of tourism.

With limited exception, no school district with any territory contained in a county declared to be a federal disaster area on January 16, 2007, that cancelled classes or dismissed classes early for weather-related reasons for any days from January 22, 2007 shall be required to make up the days lost during such time. School districts in counties not included in the disaster area that have missed eight or more days due to inclement weather during the 2006-2007 school year shall not be required to make up the days or hours for six of those days. The requirement for scheduling two-thirds of the missed days into the next year's calendar shall be waived.

This act extends the expiration date from June 30, 2010 to June 30, 2015 for the Division of Tourism Supplemental Revenue Fund.

This act is identical to HB 205 (2007).
