SB 688 - This act establishes a task force on improving urban education to be comprised of ten members of the general assembly. The task force shall study and analyze the issues and challenges of the educational system in urban areas of Missouri. The task force shall issue its findings to the general assembly no later than December 31, 2008. The provisions of this act shall expire on January 1, 2009. This act is similar to SB 652 (2007).
