SB 707 - This act makes it an unfair trade practice for an insurer to deny or refuse to insure, refuse to renew, cancel, restrict, or otherwise terminate an insurance policy, or charge a differential rate for the same coverage, based upon the insured's past or future lawful travel destinations. A life insurer, however, may exclude or limit coverage of specific lawful travel, or charging a differential premium or rate for such coverage, when the difference in risk or exposure is substantiated through sound actuarial principles.
