SB 279 - This act reinstates the Federal overtime standards for public employees employed as firefighters, law enforcement officers, and EMTs that were in place before the passage of Proposition B (2006) including exemptions for flex-time rates. This act contains an emergency clause. CHRIS HOGERTY
