SJR 6 - This constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, requires the General Assembly, after each ten-year census, to complete the division of the state into U.S. Congressional districts by January 1st of the year in which the regularly scheduled elections for members of the U.S. House of Representatives are to be held. The division of the state into districts shall only occur once every ten years. This SJR is identical to SJR 33 (2006). JIM ERTLE
