SB 663 - This act requires the State Board of Education to establish a rule to permit the spouse of a military member stationed in Missouri who has relocated from another state within one year of the date of application for a Missouri teacher's certificate, and who is a holder of a valid teacher's license from another state if the other state required a background check prior to issuing such license, to receive a provisional license permitting the holder to assume classroom duties pending completion of a Missouri background check. This act is identical to provisions within HCS/HB 135 (2007).
