SB 1038 - The act expands the ability currently available to the Department of Natural Resources to enter into cooperative agreements with particular organizations. The act allows for cooperation in order to provide enhancements to the department's facilities provided that the organization reimburse the department for any space and staff support provided and that any such agreement includes documentation submitted to the department that demonstrates the benefits of cooperation. This act is similar to HB 1722 (2006).
