SB 998 - This act allows the Board of Registration for the Healing Arts and the Board of Nursing to monitor collaborative arrangements between physicians and advanced practice registered nurses at any time. Under the act, a complaint against a participant in the arrangement shall not be a prerequisite for monitoring the arrangement.

Upon registration, physicians must report to the board of registration for the healing arts, any collaborative practice agreements and physician assistant supervision agreements. The physician shall report the names of the parties to the agreement and the board shall conduct random audits and reviews of the agreements to ensure compliance.
