SCS/SB 812 - The act grants authority to public water supply districts, sewer districts and municipalities to install and maintain sewer and water lines in public roads provided they adhere to the reasonable rules and regulations of the appropriate local governments. The act adds municipalities, public water supply districts and sewer districts to the list of utilities that are to be under the supervision of the state highways and transportation commission when engaging in construction within the right-of-way of any state highway.
