HCS/SB 1084 - This act extends the sunset date for the Healthcare for Uninsured Children Program (CHIPS) from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008. This act also extends the sunset date for the consumer-directed personal care assistance services program for non-Medicaid eligible clients from June 30, 2006 to June 30, 2008. This date corresponds to the sunset date for the state Medicaid program. This act contains an emergency clause. ADRIANE CROUSE
