SB 762 - This act allows businesses to voluntarily sign up for the newly created no-mail list kept and maintained by the Secretary of State's office. The database tracking the names of all participating businesses shall be operational by July 1, 2007 and shall be open to any business in the state who prescribes to the procedure laid out by the Secretary of State for inclusion on the list. Any violations shall be referred to the Attorney General's office. MEGAN WORD
