SB 864 - This act denies unemployment benefits to teachers who voluntarily resign during the term of their employment. A teacher's resignation is treated as a refusal of acceptance of reasonable assurance of continued employment if the effective date of the resignation begins upon or after expiration of the contract terms. Teachers will not receive benefits upon such a resignation. CHRIS HOGERTY
