SB 1132 - This act provides that a "public entity", for purposes of determining immunity from tort liability, shall include any not-for-profit organization that provides or contracts for ambulance services under authority granted to it by a city, county, town, or village, as long as the governing body of such consists of elected officials or individuals appointed by the mayor, board of alderman, city council, county commission, or county legislature.
