SB 1126 - This act requires the Highways and Transportation Commission to close all rest areas to all vehicular traffic except commercial motor vehicles and truck-tractors or truck-tractor combinations. Under the at, the commission is also prohibited from building or constructing new rest areas. Both of these requirements will take effect on January 1, 2007. STEPHEN WITTE
