AN ACT

To amend chapter 376, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to rebates of copayments to patients with chronic conditions.


 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 376, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 376.823, to read as follows:

            376.823. Section 191.905, RSMo, shall not apply to programs established by pharmaceutical companies for the purposes of providing a partial rebate of private health insurance copayments, and coinsurance to patients with multiple sclerosis or other chronic, potentially disabling, or life-threatening conditions who have been prescribed disease-managing medicines for which there are no generic equivalents.
