AN ACT

To amend chapter 9, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the designation of Ronald Reagan Day in Missouri.


 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 9, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 9.165, to read as follows:

            9.165. The governor annually shall issue a proclamation setting apart February 6 as "Ronald Reagan Day" in Missouri. The governor's proclamation shall recommend that the day be observed by the people with appropriate exercises in the public schools and otherwise to the end that the memory of the public service and the humanitarian principles of Ronald Reagan may be perpetuated.
