AN ACT

To amend chapter 643, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the motor vehicle emissions inspection program.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Chapter 643, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 643.365, to read as follows:

643.365. On or before August 31, 2007, the commission shall suspend operation of any motor vehicle emissions inspection program established under sections 643.300 to 643.360 and shall revert to the motor vehicle inspection standard under section 307.366, RSMo, and may institute a decentralized emissions inspection program.
