SB 255 - This act provides a $5,000 cash benefit to the families of Missouri veterans who died while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan after September 11, 2001. The act also provides a $1,000 cash benefit to veterans wounded as a result of combat action in Afghanistan or Iraq after September 11, 2001. The adjutant general of the state of Missouri shall administer the program. The act creates the "War on Terror Veteran Fund". DONALD THALHUBER
