HB 880 - This act establishes the MBE/WBE (Minority business enterprise/Women's business enterprise) Oversight Review Committee within the Office of Administration. The committee shall increase and maintain participation of certified socially and economically disadvantaged small business concerns or minority business enterprises in supplies, services, and construction contracts with the state. A study of the availability of socially and economically disadvantaged small business concerns and minority business enterprises in the marketplace must be completed by December 31, 2007. The Office of Administration will staff the committee and aid in the performance of the committee's duties. The provisions of the act will expire six years from the effective date. ANDY LYSKOWSKI
