SB 1080 - This act amends certain policies with regard to MAP testing by stating that, no later than June 30, 2006, the state board of education shall:

(1) Align the performance standards of the MAP so that such indicators meet, but do not exceed, the performance standards of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) exam; and

(2) Administer any other adjustments necessary in order to aid the state in conforming to federal standards, including the institution of yearly examination of students in the required subject areas where compelled by federal regulations.
