AN ACT
To amend chapter 226, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to highways.
Section A. Chapter 226, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 226.006, to read as follows:
226.006. The department of transportation shall examine the traffic congestion problems which occur at the intersections of Fifty-Second Street and U.S. Highway 71, Fifty-Fifth Street and U.S. Highway 71, and Seventy-Fifth Street and U.S. Highway 71. The department shall conduct a feasibility study to determine whether overpass systems should be established at such intersections. The department shall also explore other avenues which would help alleviate congestion at those intersections. The department of transportation shall summarize its findings and report them to the general assembly no later than December 1, 2004.
