AN ACT

To authorize the governor to convey a tract of land owned by the state to the city of Salem.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section 1. 1. The governor is hereby authorized and empowered to sell, transfer, grant, and convey all interest in fee simple absolute in a tract of land owned by the state in the county of Dent known as the National Guard Armory Building in Salem to the City of Salem. The property to be conveyed is more particularly described as follows:

All that part of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section Thirteen (13), Township Thirty four (34) North, Range Six (6) West, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the north right of way line of State Highway "J" that is 438.5 feet east of the west line of said Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter, thence north 387 feet, thence east 225 feet, thence south 387 feet, more or less, to the north right of way line of State Highway "J" to the place of beginning.2. Consideration for the conveyance described in subsection 1 of this section shall be for the sum of one dollar.

3. The attorney general shall approve as to the instrument of conveyance.
