AN ACT
To amend chapter 1, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to legislative intent clauses.
Section A. Chapter 1, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 1.135, to read as follows:
1.135. In order to ascertain the intent of the general assembly in the enactment of any law, each bill filed in the general assembly shall contain a section that states the purpose or reasoning of the general assembly in making the law.
