AN ACT

To authorize, pursuant to Section 21.527, RSMo, the commencement of certain projects to be funded from bond proceeds subject to the provisions of Sections 360.010 to 360.140.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Authorization to commence the following projects to be funded from bond proceeds and local funds for research, academic and related facilities to be owned by the Curators of the University of Missouri. The projects, the campus of said state institution of higher education, the amount for each project to be paid from the bonds proceeds and local funds is hereby granted:



Section 1. To the University of Missouri

For planning, design, and renovation of Benton-Stadler Halls

on the St. Louis Campus

From Bond Proceeds $23,913,000



Section 2. To the University of Missouri

For planning, design, renovation, and improvements of the

Mechanical Engineering Building and Annex on the

Rolla Campus

From Bond Proceeds $18,617,000

From Local Funds 4,733,000

Total $23,350,000

Section 3. To the University of Missouri

For continuation of the implementation of shell space

within the Health Sciences Building (Phase I) on

the Kansas City Campus

From Bond Proceeds $9,200,000



Section 4. To the University of Missouri

For the planning, design and construction of a Health

Sciences Building (Phase II) on the Kansas City

Campus

From Bond Proceeds $42,800,000

From Local Funds 10,700,000

Total $53,500,000



Section 5. To the University of Missouri

For planning, design and renovation of the Engineering

Building on the Columbia Campus

From Bond Proceeds $20,910,000



Section 6. To the University of Missouri

For planning, design and construction of a Health

Sciences Research Center on the Columbia Campus

From Bond Proceeds $75,000,000

From Local Funds 100,000,000

Total $175,000,000
