AN ACT
To amend chapter 99, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to tax increment financing.
Section A. Chapter 99, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 99.846, to read as follows:
99.846. 1. Notwithstanding any other provisions of sections 99.800 to 99.865 to the contrary, no redevelopment project established after August 28, 2004, pursuant to the provisions of sections 99.800 to 99.865 shall be used for residential purposes.
2. The provisions of subsection 1 of this section shall not apply to any city not within a county nor to any home rule city with more than four hundred thousand inhabitants and located in more than one county.
