AN ACT
To amend chapter 194, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to vascular organ transplants.
Section A. Chapter 194, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 194.275, to read as follows:
194.275. When an anatomical gift of a vascular organ is made in Missouri to an organ procurement organization for transplantation purposes, the organ procurement organization shall use its best efforts to determine if there is a suitable recipient on a list at a transplant program in the state of Missouri, provided that the donor does not name a specific recipient and the vascular organ is deemed suitable for transplantation.
