Jefferson City, MO - Senator Cauthorn and Representative Munzlinger will host a town hall meeting to provide assistance to tornado damage victims on May 29, 2003 at 6:30 p.m. at the Canton R-V High School Cafeteria in Canton, MO. Representatives from FEMA, USDA, and the Missouri Department of Insurance will be on hand to answer questions about individual assistance, debris clean-up and insurance claims.

"I visited Canton the Sunday after the storm and saw the devastation first hand," stated Sen. Cauthorn. "It is imperative that we lend a hand to rebuild these stricken communities and help put these families lives back together."

"When my farm was nearly destroyed a few years back the assistance provided by my neighbors was invaluable," said Rep. Munzlinger "It is my hope that by bringing representatives from FEMA, USDA and the Missouri Department of Insurance together in one location, it will allow those needing assistance to receive timely help"
