INDEPENDENT ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS HONOR SEN. JOHN LOUDON AS A 'HOMETOWN HERO'

JEFFERSON CITY -- The Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. (IEC) recently honored State Sen. John Loudon, R-West St. Louis County, for his efforts to improve the business climate in the State of Missouri.

The organization presented Sen. Loudon with it's "Home Town Hero" Award in acknowledgement of his: "hard work and dedication as a legislator."

"This organization is concerned about the same issues that I have championed for many years," said Sen. Loudon. "Including the high cost of worker's compensation, tort reform, and making certain that workers - union and nonunion - are allowed to work on public projects."

The IEC is a nationwide and local association of merit shop electrical contractors working together to make electrical construction a more skilled and professional workforce. Nationally IEC represents over 3,500 electrical contractors in over 70 chapters across the country. Contractor members are engaged in the installation and maintenance of electrical wiring and devices for homes, schools, retail stores, highways, industrial plants, and similar projects.
