AN ACT

To repeal section 49.370, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to the location of county property.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section A.Section 49.370, RSMo, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 49.370, to read as follows:

49.370.1.The county commission shall designate the place whereon to erect any county building, on any land belonging to such county, at the established seat of justice thereof.

2.Any county of the first classification may acquire, own, erect, operate, manage, and maintain buildings and property outside the limits of the established seat of justice.
