AN ACT

To authorize the governor to convey a tract of land owned by the state in the county of Pettis.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section 1.1.The governor is hereby authorized and empowered to sell, transfer, grant, and convey all interest in fee simple absolute in a tract of land owned by the state in the county of Pettis.The property to be conveyed is more particularly described as follows:

BEGINNING AT A POINT IN THE WEST LINE OF THOMPSON BOULEVARD, 680.0 FEET NORTH OF THE NORTH LINE OF MISSOURI STATE ROUTE "Y" IN THE CITY OF SEDALIA, MISSOURI, SAID POINT BEING THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF A TRACT DESCRIBED IN BOOK 156 PAGE 497; THENCE SOUTH 6434' WEST, ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID TRACT, 65.19 FEET; THENCE NORTH 8705'47" EAST, 60.15 FEET TO A POINT ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID THOMPSON BOULEVARD, 25.18 FEET SOUTH OF THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE NORTH 0245' WEST, ALONG SAID WEST LINE, 25.18 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.2.The department of elementary and secondary education shall set the terms and conditions for the sale of the property, as the department deems reasonable.

3.The attorney general shall approve as to form the instrument of conveyance.
