AN ACT
To amend chapter 333, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to liability of funeral directors and funeral establishments.
Section A. Chapter 333, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 333.271, to read as follows:
333.271. For purposes of this section only, a person may designate a next of kin, regardless of blood or marital relationship, by means of a written instrument that is signed, dated and verified. Such designation may also be part of a duly executed will or trust.
