AN ACT
To amend chapter 414, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to fuels offered for sale.
Section A. Chapter 414, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 414.043, to read as follows:
414.043. 1. No gasoline sold, offered for sale, or stored within this state shall contain more than one-half of one percent by volume of methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE).
2. Nothing in this section is intended to result in any violation of the federal Clean Air Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. 7401, et seq.
