SJR 25 - This proposed constitutional amendment, if approved
by the voters, would remove the current authorization for
political subdivisions to use an inflationary growth factor to
calculate the increase in assessed valuation of property in
revising its tax levy. The amendment would also require that the
St. Louis County Assessor be an elected official beginning in
2004.
